The function room can cater for a wide range of events, wedding receptions, anniversaries, birthdays (sorry no 18ths), Christmas parties, social & fund raising events, funeral teas etc. The facility is self-contained with its own bar and toilets.
 
During May to August we have the added facility of a 600sqm floor area (covering half of the bowling green) where you can hold dances for up to 400, trade fairs or meetings
 
Facilities are as follows:
  1. Bar

  5. Buffet meals
  6. Independent sound system
  7. Large car park (100 spaces)

Conditions of Booking

  1. A £100 deposit is required for all reservations to confirm the booking. The deposit is non-returnable if the function is cancelled.
  2. Final numbers of guests will be required 14 days in advance. This is the number that will be charged on the final invoice. If the actual number of guests exceeds the specified number of guests, then the actual number of guests will be charged for. Correct number of guests is important in order that we can arrange appropriate staff levels.
  3. Accounts are subject to full payment 14 days before the function. Any other arrangements for payment must be agreed with the management prior to the function. The deposit is deducted from the final cost. Payment by Cash or Cheque only.
  4. Any temporary room decorations required for the function, will only be permitted after prior arrangements with the manager. The use of SELLOTAPE is forbidden.
  5. Any costs incurred as a result of damage to the room, fixtures or fittings and the exterior of the premises caused by the hirer or his/her guests during the function will be payable by the hirer. A £50 bond is required which is refundable.
  6. Room Hire 7pm-11pm (10.30 Sunday) £110. 7pm-midnight (11.30pm Sunday) £125. To include private bar and toilet facilities. £16 ph (from £10 without bar) outside these hours.
  7. We reserve the right to request I.D for anyone appearing to be under the age of 18 years.
  8. Disco Charge: £140.00.  No Smoke Machines allowed. Own Bands only by prior arrangement.
  9. Maximum sit down meal approximately, 70 persons. Buffet style 150 persons. Prize Presentations Maximum 125 persons. Minimum of 50 persons are required for Saturday Night bookings. Minimum of 30 persons on all other bookings.
  10. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building. A £50.00 charge will be made to the hirer on the day should either the fire or burglar alarm be activated.
  11. Own food is not to be brought onto the premises except a Friday evenings, when self catering (not outside caterers) can be arranged by mutual agreement.
  12. Own food cannot be brought onto the premises except a celebration cake or by agreement under condition 11.
